Catalyzer Co-Owner bikes across North America
Catalyzer co-owner Chris John recently completed a 54-day odyssey across the northern tier of the continent, traveling 3403 miles, with just 5 rest days. “I’m fixing to be 68,” John said. “I wanted to do it before I became an old guy.” John said he pursues adventures because they are beautiful or because they are hard. “This was both,” he said. For those who have never ridden a bike 70 miles in one day, that goal alone seems daunting. The greater challenge, however, “is riding 70 miles day after day after day,” he said.

Catalyzer recently presented “Using the Great Game to Address The Great Resignation” as a virtual pre-conference workshop for the upcoming 30th Annual Great Game of Business (GGOB) Conference in Kansas City. The session was offered on August 17th, from 11AM – 1PM Central, and a recorded version, along with participant questions, is now available on the Great Game of Business website. During this well-attended workshop, Catalyzer linked contemporary challenges surrounding retention with the GGOB implementation methodology.

Recent Hiring Our Heroes Fellows to Continue Working with Catalyzer
Catalyzer is pleased to announce that our two recent Hiring Our Heroes (HoH) Fellows, U.S. Army Master Sergeant, Kirby Ingles, and Captain (promotable) Lenora Ridley will transition to follow-on roles. Lenora will support Catalyzer as a part-time project lead for select program- and business-related initiatives. Among these are work to further develop and implement an assessment framework around Catalyzer programs and the implementation of a Learning Management System that supports both internal and external program execution more fully.

Lansing, Kansas – July 1, 2022: Catalyzer’s proposed presentation on “Using the Great Game to Address The Great Resignation” was chosen as a virtual pre-conference workshop for the 30th Annual Great Game of Business (GGOB) Conference to be held later this fall in Kansas City. The session will be offered on August 17, 11 AM – 1 PM Central. Nine sessions are being offered via Zoom in the weeks leading up to the conference as an extra enticement to register for the big event.
