Igniting Greatness
Across Diverse
Industries
Key Industries
Catalyzer’s programs have deep roots in select industry verticals. Manufacturing, community banking, law enforcement, and engineering constitute the majority of our business, but our leadership programs translate across industries thanks to our customized approach.
Manufacturing
More than half of Catalyzer’s work has been dedicated to supporting manufacturing companies. These organizations range from trailer manufacturing and industrial utility fixtures to pre-cast/pre-stressed concrete production, containerization, and food production. Impressively, 100% of these organizations have engaged us beyond the initial program, forming lasting partnerships.
Banking
Since our initial partnership with Consumers National Bank, a community bank in northeastern Ohio, Catalyzer has expanded its presence in the community banking industry. We enjoy a long-standing relationship with the Community Banking Association of Ohio and have expanded to build relationships with banks all over the country. Our clients range from a newly chartered de novo bank in Alabama to a $1.6 billion bank in a small village in north-central Ohio. We deliver programs targeting executive teams and mid-level leaders/managers who are early in their careers or on the verge of officership.
Law Enforcement
Support for law enforcement agencies is Catalyzer’s fastest-growing area, with our team spending an average of 100 days annually on leadership programs for professionals in this industry. These engagements are primarily with Sheriff’s Offices, where we account for differences between detentions and patrol functions, agency size, and unique constituencies influenced by geography, urban vs. rural settings, and regional politics. We have developed and now offer signature programs for front-line and command staff leaders.
Government
County governments have become a natural extension of Catalyzer’s extensive work with sheriff’s offices. Counties have repeatedly engaged Catalyzer to develop leadership skills across all departments, from roads and bridges departments to airport managers and assessor’s offices. Additionally, we have worked directly with county agencies to facilitate smooth transitions and continuity in leadership before and after changes occur.
Engineering
Engineers are often seen as excellent managers but may struggle with leadership skills. Emotional intelligence, communication, and team building can become challenges in the workplace. We have over a decade of experience working with both large and small engineering companies. Two of these partnerships involve organizations in the federal contracting space, an area where Catalyzer also has significant expertise. We have seen great success in this sector, with 100% of engineering organizations engaging us beyond the initial program.
Other Industries
“Our ideal partner is someone who employs and values people.” That’s our go-to response when branding and marketing experts ask about our target audience. Consequently, our partnerships include diverse organizations such as McDonald’s-US, the Army-Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES), a regional health information exchange in western Colorado, and national/international non-profits like Rotary and Boy Scouts of America. These large and small organizations add valuable diversity to our approaches and thinking, which we apply across all our well-defined industry verticals. Do you value your workforce? If so, we’re your team.
